Coastal conditions
Windows and doors are essential to preserve the integrity of a building or a home during hurricanes and storms. The easiest place for debris to break through a structure are the windows and doors—so your choice of products becomes very important. To ensure the safety of your home and provide the best possible choice, we developed some of the toughest wooden products on the market without compromising elegance and style: the Impact Series.

Impact Series: What is the difference?
Superior Laminated Glass
Our Impact Series uses laminated glass for safety purposes, holding the glass together when shattered. If broken, it's held in place by an interlayer called SentryGlass+.
With a material five times stronger and up to 100 times stiffer than the conventional laminated interlayer, SentryGlass+ technology resists impacts, storms and other flying debris.
The 0.090' interlayer keeps the glass layers bonded even when broken, and its high strength prevents the glass from breaking up into large sharp pieces. This produces a typical "spider web" cracking pattern when the impact is not sufficient to completely break through the glass.
Reinforced frame and sashes
Every product from this series is reinforced with dissimulated steel brackets.
Whether it's a 2"x4" coming towards the window at 60mph or extreme winds, our Impact Series windows and doors can take it.
Your choice is all about safety, without compromising on style.
ENGINEERED FOR SECURITY
R&D TESTING LAB
Before launching new technologies for coastal conditions, our products must pass a series of tests, both conducted by Lepage Millwork and with outside independent firms.
Rest assured that when we say they can take it, we're saying it based on verified facts.
Structural silicone
To reinforce our products’ durability against extreme weather conditions, we apply structural silicone to our products in order to increase resistance against debris.
